Find answers about the fellowship and our approach
We welcome curious minds from Ogbomoso and surrounding communities who demonstrate intellectual hunger and commitment to learning. There are no formal prerequisites—just genuine interest in frontier technologies and willingness to engage deeply.
Quantum computing harnesses quantum mechanics to process information in fundamentally different ways than classical computers. It exploits superposition, entanglement, and interference to solve complex problems. The HeGUTTS Fellowship introduces fellows to these concepts through accessible frameworks.
The fellowship runs for four months with weekly virtual and in-person sessions. Fellows engage in structured learning, mentorship, project work, and community building throughout the entire period.
No. HeGUTTS leverages open-source tools and remote learning resources to make frontier technology accessible without expensive labs or hardware. The focus is on understanding concepts and building skills.
Alumni become part of a sustained tech community in Ogbomoso. You’ll mentor new cohorts, participate in hackathons and journal clubs, and help build the ecosystem that continues beyond the program.
